The building is situated on the left hand side of Nelson Street looking up to the Arch. Directly opposite the Nook Public House famous as the favorite haunt of the original Chinese Sailors. Diagonally opposite St George's Square and The Chinese Gospel Church. No 40 - 42 is center to a number of Chinese restaurants and community centers including The See Yep and The Chinese Freemason Society.
